MichiganWomensForum.com looks forward to the day when Michigan women's voices are amplified and issues that primarily affect women are given fair and adequate attention in all forms of media, and when Michigan women have a dedicated state-wide media outlet that fully meets their needs for information and public expression.

ABOUT our publisher
With 20 years of experience in community journalism, Joni Hubred-Golden brings her unique voice and special insights to every word she writes. Author of some 2,000 news and magazine articles and publisher of Michigan's only news-based, electronic magazine devoted to women's issues, she has also published a collection of essays and has spoken to scores of business people, educators and students on topics ranging from journalism and community affairs to self-publishing and media relations.
